Building Performance Consulting for a K–12 Educational Campus

We were engaged to evaluate and enhance the environmental performance of a school campus in Kalyani Nagar, Pune. The project was already under construction when we joined, requiring performance improvements within the constraints of an established architectural design.

Working alongside Saket Saraf, I collaborated with the project architect to assess the building's performance and identify practical design interventions that could improve comfort, energy efficiency, and overall building performance without significant redesign.

Project Context

Since construction was already underway, the focus was on identifying interventions that could realistically be incorporated during execution rather than redesigning the building from the ground up. Key Takeaway

Even when a building is already under construction, performance analysis can uncover opportunities to improve comfort, daylight, and energy efficiency.
