Stadium design and infrastructure consultancy for the Maharashtra Cricket Association - integrating passive design principles, shading systems and energy-efficient facility planning.
I was part of the multidisciplinary team that developed the competition proposal for the new Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.
The team brought together architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, stadium planning experts, and sustainability specialists from leading organizations, including faculty from CEPT University.
Working alongside Saket Saraf, I contributed to the sustainability and building performance strategy for the proposal.
My role focused on evaluating and improving the environmental performance of the stadium through building science and performance-driven design.
The proposal explored multiple high-performance strategies including:
A multidisciplinary collaboration comprising:
Building Performance & Sustainability Consultant
Working with the sustainability team, I helped translate architectural intent into measurable environmental performance by evaluating energy efficiency strategies and supporting evidence-based design decisions.
Large public infrastructure projects require sustainability to be integrated from the earliest stages of design. This experience reinforced my belief that building performance is most successful when architects and engineers collaborate from day one.
